The Embassy has transitioned to AUD payments for ALL Passport and Notarial Services. Payments can be made by VISA, Mastercard, or American Express debit or credit card. The Embassy no longer accepts payment in Korean Won.
Services
The expiry date will normally be the same as the passport being replaced.
The existing passport must have at least two years validity remaining in order for a replacement passport to be issued.

A replacement passport is a reprint of an existing passport with a new passport number, applicable under limited circumstances.

This is not "Renewing Adult Passport".
Full application with supplementary documents are required.
- An Apostille requires two (2) working days to complete.
- Apostilles are only able to be completed with original Australian documents.
- Copies made by Australian Consular or Diplomatic officers cannot be issued with an Apostille.
When certifying a document containing a photograph, such as a driver's licence, the Embassy is only certifying that the copy is a true copy of the original document presented and does not make any claims about the identity of the individual.
The documents presented must be Australian and/or required for use in Australia. In many cases, a document intended for use in Australia. Certification of copies is different to legalising documents.

The certification of documents take the following form: 'This is a true copy of the document presented to me'. Documents presented must be original. The Embassy is unable to complete certified copies of photocopied for facsimiles.

The laws of some countries require that before a foreigner may marry within their jurisdiction, they must produce a certificate issued by the authorities of the country to which they belong stating that those authorities do not know of any impediment to the marriage. Such a certificate is known as a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) or in some countries as a Nulla Osta Certificate.

A statutory declaration is a solemn declaration of fact or belief, and may generally be made in relation to any matter. An affidavit is used to give evidence in court proceedings, while a statutory declaration is used to give evidence in most other circumstances.
The declaration must contain an acknowledgement that it is true and correct and that it was made in the belief that a person making a false declaration is liable to the relevant penalties for perjury (eg. in the case of a Commonwealth statutory declaration, imprisonment of up to four years).
As each document is different, consular officers at the Embassy are not able to provide advice on the requirements of your particular document. It is your responsibility to check with the originator of the document whether an Australian Consular Officer is able to witness your signature on the document.
We are unable to witness signatures on documents for visa and migration purposes.
• Your lawyer must provide clear instructions as to what they need in and on the affidavit. We can't provide legal information or advice.
• Before you bring an affidavit to us, contact your lawyer. Get their advice and specific instructions.
• If an affidavit contains attachments or is multiple pages, we will bind the pages together. Some receiving authorities don't accept bound documents. Ask the receiving document if they'll accept it.

As each document is different, consular officers at the Embassy are not able to provide advice on the requirements of your particular document. It is your responsibility to check with the originator of the document whether an Australian Consular Officer is able to witness your signature on the document.
Please be aware that this service may require certifying copies of your IDs with additional cost, so please clarify all the requirements with your lawyer or bank prior to the beginning of service provision.
